LETTING GO OF THE PAST

I really want to let go of this past: I said to myself

But like they say it is easier said than done!

Because deed has been done

This is a life I lived

Can I leave it behind?

Guilt and blame won't let me be!

My freedom began when I met the author of my story

His glory led me to many knowing

I understood that I am just a participant in the whole thing

Bit by bit I unbottled every within

Now I know that I am redeemed

My past is a phase already released.
