I'M TIRED, GOD WHY ME

By Francis Barry

A friend sent me a text this evening, and i called back immediately , she was crying and i could feel her pain . But in the midst of this, the Holy Spirit spoke a lot which i wrote to tonight.

Tonight's message is dedicated to those who are currently in a season of hopelessness and despair. Tonight's message is dedicated to people who have cried and are crying, who have bled and are bleeding—people who have been asking the question, "God, where are You?" You will want to listen to what I have to say by the Spirit.

I believe that the Lord gave me this message not only for me but for the body of Christ. It is an attempt by the Spirit to make sense of hopeless situations and to show you the theology of perpetual victory, even in the midst of storms and prevailing circumstances.

The Bible assures us that victory is the believer's heritage in Christ and should be our expectation at all times, regardless of conditions. I want to show you by the Spirit tonight how believers emerge despite any and everything.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn. To appoint unto those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified." Isaiah 61:1-3

The first thing I want to establish tonight is that tragic and unpleasant situations are real. Although we are people of faith, the Bible does not teach believers to ignore the reality of tragedies and unfavorable situations. We can superimpose them with a superior belief, but it is not unscriptural to acknowledge that tragedies and unpleasant conditions are real.

Crying and weeping over painful and tragic situations is not unbelief. The Bible makes provision for believers to cry and express their humanity decently in the midst of unfavorable situations.

The faith life does not promise us a lack of unpleasant situations; it promises us victory in the midst of or despite those situations.

Remain conscious of the love of God towards you. No matter what happens in your life, no matter how much you do not have answers to it, whether it's a situation of death, sickness, perhaps someone right now is watching battling cancer, you have an autistic child, you've lost your job, you are losing your home, you've lost your ministry, things have gone haywire around your life—no matter what you lose, never lose the consciousness of the love of God towards you.

The consciousness of the love of God. The Bible says, "He that did not spare His Son," do you know what that means to demonstrate how far the extent of His love for you and I? The Bible says not even His Son Jesus was spared, but delivered Him up for us all. How shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? There is something you need to know about how much God loves you that can become an anchor when life does not make sense.

You can lose your job; you may lose your home; God forbid. You may lose any other thing, but let it not be that you lost with it the consciousness of the love that Jesus has for you. Someone say, "He loves me." One more time, say, "He loves me."

For someone, God is speaking to you. You have given up on God, on church, and on everything related to spirituality. After praying, fasting, releasing your faith, sowing seeds, and doing all you know to do, things may not have changed. Maybe a health condition worsened, finances declined, or your marriage fell apart. You trusted God that a divorce would not happen, but it did. You believed the surgery would not occur, yet it did. You had faith that the house would not be repossessed, but it was.

Let me tell you, there are three levels of hope. Don’t settle for just one. There is hope for change in the midst of the current situation. When that fails, move to the next level of hope: hope against hope. Even if that fails, console yourself with the eternal hope that God will reward you for standing firm, even in the midst of no result. If you understand me, say amen.

Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NIV) says: "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights."

Never stop believing and engaging with the Word of God. Regardless of what the devil tells you using your current situation, never stop believing. Don't give up just because prayers seem unanswered.

I Pray for someone today, your challenges are tuning to songs of Joy In Jesus name. Amen
