Recently, one of God's servants, Ebuka Songs, faced criticism over a video featuring him and Pella, a streamer. The video sparked controversy within the Christian community, with many condemning their actions.
Specifically, Ebuka was criticized for allowing Pella to give fake prophecies, downplay Christian values, and mock sacred beliefs. The incident ignited a heated debate on social media, with some defending Ebuka and others denouncing his actions.
In response to the criticism, Ebuka recently released a video from his program in Kenya, addressing the controversy.
Here are some key points he made in the video:
"Don't be deceived. The Bible says on the last day, false prophets will rise. How do you look at a man like me, small boy like me, I'm just in my early 20s, and you look at me and you say, "This one is fake. Somebody that has given his youth, his teenage life, everything to God. When you were my age, what were you doing with your life. Look at me. I have the right to do whatever I want to do with my life, but I say, "No, I will follow Jesus." And then you now look at me, you now say that, "This one is right or wrong". You are... Who gave you the authority to judge a man?
"I never speak, but let me tell you something. I now realize how far God has taken me. I am accountable to my followers. All of you here who believe in me, I am very accountable to you. So you are not deceived. In a time like this, souls are dying. If God send me to the club, I will go there. If he send... Because of the things we don't say, I know how many times I've been on the street, I see the prostitutes. I will go there, ride my car in Abuja, and give all of them money. "How much is your money per night?" They count their money, I say, "Take go home. You don't see it on social media. That's why they stand on the pulpit and preach purity that they don't know.
"Those around me know I like to learn. If I fail in an area, I like to go and learn it. Be- You know what? I am very young, I have time. I have time to learn. It's likewise, you give yourself to learning and corrections. Yes, but guess what? Many people will claim to correct you, but they hate you. They are speaking from pain, looking for how to fail. Let me tell you, I have seen many of our mentors die because people talked about them. They could not bear it. Some of them died of heart attacks. I say Ebuka no me oooo.
"I don't care what you say. Say anything. I've been sent to a people. I've been sent to a people, and I will reach those people. Whichever way, I will reach them. And I'm saying this to encourage you guys. It is time to go into the marketplace. Enough of preaching to the same people every time. Every Sunday you are preaching to the same congregation. No new soul has been won. People are dying on the street. Invite them to church. Win them for God. Some of them are the apostles that will save the nations. He wants to change Saul to Paul.
"When you find anybody on the street that does not know Jesus, be bold. Walk up to them and tell them about the Jesus you know. How will they know if they've not been told? How will they learn if they've not been taught? How do we win them if you don't bring them close? The Bible says, "Be not be equally yoked with unbeliever." Break it down. Do you know what to be equal means? To be the same. There is no way, even if I meet a worldly man, we cannot be the same. That does not make us the same. He said, "Do not all be equally yoked." That means don't bring your standard low to their standard. Don't think like they will think. Don't make them convince you. Instead, convince them. Don't be equally yoked. The English is simple.
"Kenya is time to rise. You know why your pastor will not stand before God for you. Never. You will get to heaven and see your bishop also standing on the queue looking for their name in the Book of Life, trying to check if their name also appeared in the Book of Life. And then you want to kill yourself because somebody is talking bad about you. The same person that will stand on the same queue that with you.
"If you fall, rise, because the righteous shall fall seven times. But what will happen to the righteous? He will not remain on the ground, because why? The ground is not a place for him. The ground is never a place. When you fall, rise again. You are a good soldier. You know why they will not tell you this thing? They like it when they have authority over you. Yes. They like it when you are doing papa, papa, papa. You know when you're doing papa, there's something they carry that you think you don't carry. They will not tell you you carry it. Only a few of them will tell you that you carry it.
They will not tell you you can also pray it for somebody and the person will, will be healed. They will tell you, "Bring your prayers. I will go to the mountain."
